Buying Nintendo Wii

1. Game Region
The Wii(s) we are selling are all NTSC-U region, means that all ORIGINAL local and US games will work.

2. Difference between Local and Export set
Local sets have 1 year warranty in Singapore while export set's warranty is based in US because they are imported from US. We offer 1 week warranty for our Wiis but customers can opt to add $15 for a 2 year coverage direct with us. Our coverage terms will be the same as Nintendo.

Additionally, export sets come with a 120v power adapter. We offer free change to third party 230V adapter but charge if you want an original 230V adapter. Note the Wii item description for details.

3. Hacking
All our Wiis are not hackable and we will not be doing the illegal modifications. Please note that Nintendo does not cover damage caused by hacking and neither will we.

4. English / Korea / Japanese Wii
 Nintendo 4.2 firmware update bricks English Wiis. We have since ceased sales of Wiis that were not originally meant to run in English. As a general advise, if your Wii is running something that was never natively supported, ie modification or language change, ask us before updating to the latest original software.

5. What to buy
Wii Remote and NunChuck: You will need this if you intend to play 2 player or more games.

Component Cable: You will want to get this if you have a HDTV with Component input so that you can get resolution of up to 480p. we have it here.
