Install Homebrew Games or Application for PSP/Slim.
What is homebrew?
"Homebrew" refers to programs such as games, utility software, and the like,
that are made at home by individual people (as opposed to development
companies).
How useful are homebrew?
There are many application available online, like alarm clock, calculator,
even periodic table, there are also simple games that are good for killing time,
like Tic Tac Toe, Galactic Breakout etc.
How do I install them?
I am going to use Galactic Breakout v1.3(Slim) to demostrate how do you
install it. First you download the files
HERE. open up the
file using Winrar(You can get Winrar HERE).
You will see a "GBO 1.3" folder and a readme v1.3.txt. simply extract the "GBO
1.3" folder into your PSP Memory stick directory PSP/GAME, after you done that,
you should have a folder GBO 1.3 inside the PSP/GAME folder, you can then start
the game like how you start other games.
What about other homebrew? Are they installed the same way?
Generally yes, they are installed the same way, but of course there are
times when it differ, that is the purpose of the readme text file inside the rar
file you have downloaded . always read the text file on how do you install the
homebrew you downloaded. Do not panic and slowly read through.
