We recommend customers take the 2 year warranty. The cost works out to less than $1 a month and covers even expensive parts like motherboard ($140), LCD ($90) and analog stick ($25). It also covers the most common PSP problem... Faulty charger ($18). The only thing we do not cover is user induced defects (like crack, scratch, dents and water).
