Wii Compatible Component Cable Flickering




I see noise and the TV flickers when I use a compatible Wii component cable, why is this so?
You are probably using a compatible Wii power adapter. Voltage supplied by compatible adapters are not well regulated, thus you see the flickering on the TV with a compatible Wii component cable. The flickering and noise is reduced for the original Nintendo Wii composite cable due to its better build quality as compared to the compatible one.

Will compatible power adapter damage my Wii?
